Installation and first use

Fishbone is a Visual Studio Code(tm) extension available at the marketplace: .

Install

At first you do need to have Visual Studio Code installed. It's available for free from here: https://code.visualstudio.com . It works well under Windows, macOS and Linux.

Then you can install Fishbone like any other extension for Visual Studio Code, e.g. via command "Extensions: Install Extensions" and then enter Fishbone and click "Install".

First use / new fishbone document

After installation you can create your first fishbone document via

Windows

Use F1 and enter/select command "New fishbone".

macOS

Use Cmd+P and enter/select command "New fishbone".

Linux

Use Ctrl+P and enter/select command "New fishbone".

Open existing fishbone document

To open simply select the fishbone document/file from the Visual Studio Code explorer.
